Pre-fire checklist: know the price of a bullet

• Find the cost of one shot at your current cannon level, shown near the cannon or in the settings.
• Note the lowest and highest cannon levels allowed in the room you picked.
• Check whether auto-fire or target lock is switched on by default.
• Read the info screen for the published RTP and how special weapons are priced.
• Write down your session budget in pesos and the balance at which you will stop.
• Check whether the room is shared, since other players' shots can land catches on targets you have been hitting.

The one sum to run before you start

Amount staked = cost per shot × shots fired. At ₱0.50 a shot, 200 shots is ₱100 staked, whether or not a single fish is caught. Run that sum against your budget and you know roughly how many shots you can afford before any catch comes back.

• ₱0.10 × 500 shots = ₱50 staked.
• ₱1 × 150 shots = ₱150 staked.
• ₱2 × 300 shots = ₱600 staked, more than many first-timers budget for a whole week.

Pitfall: letting auto-fire set the pace

Auto-fire is convenient, but it spends at the game's speed rather than yours.

• It keeps shooting while you check a message or look away.
• It fires at low-value targets you would never have chosen.
• It can double your shots per minute compared with tapping, which doubles the pesos staked.
• Fix: use single taps for the first round, then switch auto-fire on only with a time limit you set yourself.

Pitfall: cranking the cannon up to chase a boss

A boss swimming across the screen is designed to tempt you into raising your cannon level. If your shot price goes from ₱0.50 to ₱5, each bullet now costs ten times as much.

• Higher levels scale stake and payout together; they do not make the boss easier to catch.
• Twenty shots at ₱5 is ₱100, the same as 200 shots at ₱0.50.
• Other players' shots can take the catch in shared rooms after you've spent on it.
• Fix: decide your cannon level before the round and leave it there.

Pitfall: tracking catches instead of your balance

The screen celebrates every catch with coins and sound effects, which makes a round feel like it is going well even while the balance drops.

• A ₱8 catch after ₱20 of shots is still a ₱12 loss for that stretch.
• Glance at the balance, not the coin animations, every minute or two.
• Note your starting balance so the comparison takes a second.
• If the balance is under your stop line, the round ends, however exciting the screen looks.

Pitfall: believing aim beats the game's maths

Aiming feels like skill, and it does let you choose targets. Whether a hit turns into a catch, and what it pays, is decided by the game's built-in probabilities. RTP is a long-run average, so a sharp-shooting session can still lose, and no pattern, tracker or predictor can tell you which fish will fall.

Think of aim as choosing where to spend, not as a way to control what comes back. A careful player and a careless one face the same built-in maths on every shot.
